A Holiday Park Brought to Life in an Impressive Scale Model

For Baraca Capital, 3D Printing Limburg has created an impressive architectural scale model of a holiday park on Lombok. The project consists of 80 holiday homes, which together provide a complete overview of the future development. Measuring approximately 3 by 2 metres, the model is a real eye-catcher and a powerful tool for visually presenting the project to potential buyers and other interested parties.

The scale model will be used, among other occasions, at the Second Home Exhibition in ’s-Hertogenbosch. At this exhibition, visitors can discover the project and gain a clear understanding of the layout, spatial arrangement and green surroundings of the future holiday park.

From Development Plan to Tangible Model

To make the design of the holiday park easy to understand, we translated the entire project into a physical scale model at a scale of 1:200. At this scale, the proportions between the holiday homes, infrastructure and surrounding spaces become clearly visible.

The 80 holiday homes form the heart of the scale model. By presenting the homes as part of one cohesive whole, visitors gain a clear overview of the park’s layout. They can see how the homes are positioned in relation to one another and how the entire site has been designed.

A project of this scale can often be difficult to fully comprehend on a screen or in a floor plan. The physical scale model makes the plans tangible and allows visitors to view the design from different perspectives.

A Green Environment with Approximately 1,000 Trees

An important element of this scale model is the natural landscaping of the site. To recreate the surroundings, we incorporated approximately 1,000 trees into the model. This not only gives the scale model a green appearance but also highlights the importance of the landscape design within the holiday park.

The large number of trees creates a vibrant and spacious overall impression. At the same time, the vegetation helps distinguish the different areas of the park and makes the relationship between the buildings and green spaces easier to understand.

The surroundings play an especially important role in the overall experience of a holiday park. By prominently incorporating the green spaces into the scale model, a more complete impression is created of the atmosphere and spatial layout that Baraca Capital envisions for this project.

Complete with a Custom Plinth

In addition to the scale model itself, we also supplied the accompanying plinth. This provides Baraca Capital with a complete presentation setup, suitable for use at exhibitions and other presentation events.

The combination of its large dimensions, 80 holiday homes and approximately 1,000 trees makes the scale model an impressive presentation tool. Visitors can take in the entire project at a glance and gain a better understanding of the scale and layout of the future holiday park.
