Volumetric model of Horst town centre – insight into spatial structure and scale relationships

On behalf of INNIC – Ontwerpen van Ruimte, 3D Maquettes produced a precise and well-structured volumetric model of the town centre of Horst. This scale model was specifically designed to clearly visualise the urban structure, building masses, and scale relationships of the area at a glance – without distraction from architectural details.

The buildings are made from high-quality white PLA, with each volume representing only the mass and shape of the built environment. By opting for a minimalist and monochrome design, the focus lies entirely on spatial proportions and the positioning of the buildings in relation to one another. This makes the model particularly suitable for professionals involved in urban design, spatial planning, and project development.

The model is placed on a printed, detailed base map that shows existing infrastructure, roads, squares, and green areas.
